IRIS)  ROMA, 11 FEB – Esiste un paradiso terrestre, un vero e proprio tesoro di eccellenze culturali, culinarie e politiche che è la Sicilia, un tesoro su cui Mario Monti dovrebbe contare di più sul piano dell’economia turistica. Ne sono fermamente convinti tre big della stampa internazionale come il Times, la Bilde Die Welt che, nel giro di pochi giorni, hanno invitato i propri lettori a scoprire i tesori della regione guidata da Raffaele Lombardo.

Si parte dal Times di Londra, in verità mai molto tenero con il nostro Paese. Il giornale inglese in un reportage a firma di Joanne O’Connor inserisce alcune ville siciliane nella top 40 delle migliori sistemazioni del Mediterraneo, mentre il quotidiano tedesco vicino ad Angela Merkel incorona la Sicilia come meta turistica invernale, “meglio di Cortina”.

Nella speciale classifica le dimore compaiono a fianco di altre meravigliose sistemazioni di alto livello come L’Escale Beach di St. Tropez, l’Atolikos House di Corfù, l’Exclusive Retreat a Ibiza e Walnut House in Istria. Helmut Luther suDie Welt invece titola “In inverno in Sicilia è già primavera” e sottolinea come, “escluso quest’anno, dove in qualche città il maltempo si è fatto sentire con particolare vigore, normalmente già a metà gennaio in questa regione è un fiorire di mandorli e, grazie al mite clima, è già possibile avventurarsi in eccitanti escursioni nell’entroterra”.
