(AGI) Parigi - With 99% of the votes counted, yesterday's presidentials elections are confermed if not yet official.
According to the Home ministry, it seems that the Socialist candidate Francois Hollande received 28,56% of the votes, while the the outgoing conservative premier, Nicolas Sarkozy gained 27,07%. Third, Marine le Pen gained for her far right National Front an unprecedented 18,12%. The votes of the French residents abroad have not been counted, but will not change the outcome. Hollande will oppose Sarkozy at the run-off of 6 May .
